First, a few mea culpas. I apologize for the erratic nature of our Episode roll-out. But because there has been so much going on backstage, as it were, it has been incredibly difficult to help with the new site migration (thank you, Sam!), figure out the merchandising components, follow up on a slew of tips and clues streaming in, writing content, conducting interviews, building out our team, all while working a full-time job. That said, I want to express my deep gratitude and appreciation for your ongoing patience and devotion to the show. I know I speak for everyone on the team when I say that our listeners are absolutely central to this show. Please keep the faith, and please keep sending in tips, suggestions, questions, and the like. You never know what might turn up. Oh, and keep spreading the word.

Second, I met with Gloria last night down in the LC Valley, and that meeting proved very productive. But it also reminded both of us just how sprawling these cases are proving to be, and just how many rabbit holes there are. And it is our intention to explore them all.

Third, on the merch tab of our sleek new website, you can find the original score to the show, written and performed by the Young Night Drifters. I can’t think of any other podcasts that offers an original score (I’m probably wrong on that), but it’s cool because I believe the music is just as important to the show as the content, because it creates an emotional experience, thereby making these cases more real (and therefore urgent) for the listeners. So check it out.

Fourth, I’m hoping to finish writing “Episode 9: Lights, Camera, Knife” in the next day or two, and will let you all know when to expect that to drop. And trust me, you will not want to miss this (or any, for that matter!) episode. Things are about to get very interesting, and I will just leave it at that (consider the photo of this post and the title as clues for what you might expect in the next episode(s).

Finally, we are looking for someone who has a fairly extensive background in editing Wikipedia articles. Sam found something very interesting on the Wiki page related to these cases on which we could use some help. So if you or someone you know has chops in that regard, please reach out.
