What's Happening Behind the Scenes

So there has been an incredible amount of movement behind the scenes at The Snake River Killer Podcast ever since Episode 4 landed. So much movement, in fact, that I am really concerned I won't get Episode 5 out the door by December 12th (just kidding... I always make my deadlines, for the most part).

First, I will be introducing a new mini-segment of the show called "Listeners Heard." The short segment is based on something a listener heard on the show which compelled them to reach out to me with an idea or question, etc. Then I bring that person on the show so they, as a listener, can be heard by fellow listeners.

Anyway, the segment provides that real listener-host exchange that I have wanted from my earliest conception of this show over a year ago, and I'm excited to launch it as soon as possible. So stay tuned.

Second, there has been a potentially significant development on the Christina White case that I will be doing a special episode on soon. I wish I could tell you exactly when, but things are so fluid right now--even as I write this--that I just can't say. But it could be huge.

I wanted to let you know of this development in advance, because a few days ago, a listener asked me if this investigation was actually in real time, or if I had a bunch of episodes pre-recorded. The nervousness I expressed above about getting Episode 5 out the door on time should answer that question. And because there active elements in these cases, like the potential development in the Christina White case, I have to be able to pivot at a moment's notice. So, yeah: real time.

Third, I want to welcome Samantha Sawyer to the Snake River Killer Podcast team. Sam will be supplying some graphic design work, and will be assisting in the investigations as well. Also, she makes amazing candles which make excellent gifts, so you should buy some. I did. So welcome, Sam!

Meanwhile, thanks for the ongoing support and enthusiasm for the show. And keep spreading the word.
