GRATITUDE & PERSEVERANCE

As I look back over the past year—my first full year of podcasting and investigating—I am reminded of how grateful I am. For so many things. For having the resources, support, and ability to actually produce a podcast in the true crime space. I am grateful for having the crazy good luck of assembling a team whose dedication to these cases and justice generally is nothing short of inspiring.

But I think I speak on behalf of the entire team when I say the real spirit, dedication, drive, and inspiration comes from Gloria herself. She has been the trailblazer in these cases. She possesses the relentlessness, tenacity, wherewithal, passion, and determination required for such work, and as such, she serves as a champion and mentor to us all.

I am grateful, too, for having an overwhelmingly dedicated listener-base. In other words, I am grateful to each and every one of YOU. When I finally decided to launch this podcast, I was asked what my goal was for number of downloads. I said if I hit 5,000 downloads, I would call it a success. As I write this blogpost, we just blew past 300,000 downloads from over 115 countries, sovereign nations, and territories around the world. I’ve said it before and I will say it again: those numbers are because of YOU. As you know, I don’t actively advertise. So this show has from the beginning survived on the “word of mouth” system.

So what can you expect in 2024 from the Snake River Killer Podcast? Well, to put it simply: A LOT! We will be returning to the Lewis-Clark Valley for more investigation and more cases. You can expect an episode that features some of your questions. You can expect a boots on-the-ground search for Steven Pearsall this spring. And we will be launching a Patreon page where we will offer Exclusive content, behind the scenes interviews, audio, video, and bonus material. We will also be attending CrimeCon this year where we will be carrying the Snake River Killer flag and networking with others in the true crime space. If all goes, well, we will be doing a river search to see if we can find either Christina White’s bicycle or the bike belonging to Kristin David. And finally, it is my hope to get another commemorative park bench installed.

So, there is much to look forward to! But there is always the opportunity for you to help! Keep spreading the word, writing in with questions and observations. Support our Patreon campaign, buy merch, and keep doing your own investigating and digging. Like I have said: it’s going to take all of us and a good deal of perseverance to bring justice for the families. Keep a candle lit for all of the victims, lest they be forgotten. I know I will.
